Family meeting of Institude of Internal Auditing - Turkey (TİDE) was held with the support of KPMG Turkey on April 20, 2009 between 19:00 - 21:00 at Swissotel, Istanbul. "Year-End Transactions" seminar was held in İzmir, Crowne Plaza Hotel, on 20 January 2009. The seminar which was organized by KPMG İzmir Tax Professionals underlined some important issues of 2009 such as tax amnesty for asset repatriation, free trade zones and year-end transactions.

The fact-finding conference, held in collaboration of KPMG and INTES (Employer’s Reunion of Turkish Construction Industry) called “2008 Global Construction Report: Challenges and Solutions” evaluated the construction sector on 8 january 2009 in Ankara. During the conference, future facts affecting the sectors were evaluated in the light of recent financial distress.
