The Fact-Finding Conference, 2008 Global Construction Report: Challenges and Solutions

The fact-finding conference, held in collaboration of KPMG and INTES (Employer’s Reunion of Turkish Construction Industry) called “2008 Global Construction Report: Challenges and Solutions” evaluated the construction sector on 8 january 2009 in Ankara. During the conference, future facts affecting the sectors were evaluated in the light of recent financial distress.

The opening speeches of the conference which took the interest of the sector professionals and bureaucrats very much, were made by Arslan Kaya, Head of KPMG Ankara, M.Şükrü Koçoğlu, Board Member of INTES and Ersin Özince, The Banks Associations of Turkey, General Manager of Türkiye İş Bankası.

After the opening speeches, the conference started with Nesrin Tuncer's(KPMG Turkey Audit Partner, Head of Construction Sector) presentation over 2008 2008 Global Construction Report and İsmail Ünal, (KPMG Turkey Audit Director) made a presentation about the results of the Global Construction Researches conducted by KPMG all over the world inculuding Turkey.
